Beach Day

Thank you Diedra for letting me borrow the cute pink swim suit!  We are planning on trying the other two as well.

Friday we spent a couple hours at Siesta Beach and Bella really enjoyed herself.  The sand is very soft and white... who wouldn't enjoy that??  She spent the day playing in sand and even eating the sand.  Bella doesn't really enjoy yogurt covered pretzels, but she sure does love her some sand covered pretzels.  She wasn't a big fan of playing in the freezing water, but did enjoy me holding her while we splashed a little in the water.  Just at the very edge of course.  We took several walks along the water and then the rest of the time was spent chasing her around. She loves to explore.  She especially loved when people gave her any kind of attention, walking on stranger's towels, bending over to get a lady's attention while the lady was reading a magazine, chasing sea gulls, and just running around.  We had a good time, but not sure that we will go back to the beach.  We might stick with the pool.  It would be less chasing and more relaxing.  :)

Christmas in Flordia

We miss you Matt!  Hope you are having fun at home.  Here are a couple pictures of what Bella got for Christmas in Florida.

Bella's new Dora chair...she loves it!  She really loves carrying around her diapers too.  Not sure why. (From Uncle Eric and Kelsie)
Aunt Jess made Bella a Christmas to to.  She is a pretty cute ballerina, huh? :)

Rocking away on her new rocking horse.  He makes noises and sings.  I think she will really enjoy it.

Bath Time

Bella LOVES bath time.  Enjoy a couple of pictures.

Pumpkin Festival in Cinci

The other weekend Matt went on a hiking trip with his brother Eric and 4 other friends, so some of the wives got together to hang out.  I had a great weekend with Sarah and Jack, Joy, Leah and Noelle, and Rhonda.  We went to a fall festival and had a good time with the kiddos. We took them on a hay ride and I think they had a great time... Well, Jack had a great time while Bella and Noelle slept the entire time.

Here is Bella fast asleep.

Jack loved his blue sucker and his cute little pumpkin.

Saturday night we had Nick and Sara over for delicious steaks after our day at the beach.  I made Sara dinner and to thank me she put Bella right to sleep. :) Bella cuddled right up to Sara and was out like a light. I couldn't believe it because she normally doesn't do that unless you give her a bottle.  Either she really loves to snuggle with Sara or she was exhausted from her day at the beach.

A Day at the Beach

Bella's 1st day down at the ocean.
This was about as excited as Bella got.
Bella loved the little canopy we made for her.
Sleepy baby sucking her thumb after a rough day at the beach.

As you can see, Bella was not a huge fan of the beach.  I think it was the sand that she didn't like because she normally likes the water.  Who can blame her...the sand gets everywhere!  Don't you hate it when you bite down into something and all you taste is sand? It's so gritty.  Yuck! Once we got her in her stroller with our homemade canopy she was good to go.  She was a good little girl from then on.
